The 400kt/a sulfuric acid plant based on sulfur with waste heat recovery and power generation by extraction condensing turbine of 12MW for Guangxi Yinyi Science and Technic Mine Metallurgy Co., Ltd was put into operation in June 2011, the acid distributor, acid piping, supports of packing and acid valves of Dry and Absorption unit were made of alloy materials, it was also the first time that home-made plate-type heat exchanger made of alloy was applied in concentrated sulfuric acid.
